The official announcement of Adobe that the Flash Player for mobile finally reached the END. Now Adobe has blamed Apple for the death of Flash. Adobe has been trying to push Flash Player to the success as on desktop but it always fail to do so due to the block by iOS of Apple.
Here is what he said:
This one should be pretty apparent, but given the fragmentation of the mobile market, and the fact that one of the leading mobile platforms (Apple’s iOS) was not going to allow the Flash Player in the browser, the Flash Player was not on track to reach anywhere near the ubiquity of the Flash Player on desktops… Just to be very clear on this. No matter what we did, the Flash Player was not going to be available on Apple’s iOS anytime in the foreseeable future.
As the Flash Player failed, HTML5 is becoming one of the main attractive features to take the place in mobile phone platform. As previously shown, the attention of Adobe in the mobile sector will focus on developing applications built using Adobe Air and the Protocol to support HTML5.
