The Chronic Dev Team has made Absinthe to untethered jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 for all iDevices including iPhone 4S and iPad 3. Recently there were almost one million devices was untethered jailbreaked meanwhile iPad 3 takes up to 210,000 units.
Absinthe has been in fact the first tool able to jailbreak working on the new iPad and this has also contributed to its success. The team has also updated many times the version 2.0.2 of Absinthe to provide maximum stability and optimize it for the latest build of iOS 5.1.1 for iPhone 4 by Apple yesterday.
These numbers show that the jailbreak of the iDevice is increasingly popular among users, as demonstrated by the impressive data upload recorded by Cydia.
