This must now change with the arrival of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The source code is released over a week ago, so any manufacturer can get to work. Now a video has emerged that Android 4.0 will be demonstrated on a tablet equipped with a 1.2 GHz processor RK2918 Rockchip. A big advantage is that the distinction between high end and low end in terms of tablet software will disappear. Each model, cheap or expensive, is now with the latest operating system.
