When presenting IOS 5.0, Apple has unveiled support for wireless synchronization via Wi-Fi, a feature already available for iOS jailbroken devices using the software Wi-Fi Sync. Greg Hughes, English software developer, said he was surprised by the integration of this system by Apple. Indeed, he proposed his system of wireless synchronization to Apple as an application for the App Store iOS, it was obviously rejected.
The developer had exchanged a few messages with Apple executives that he had even asked for his CV. He then publish its software on Cydia. He also sold quite well since, according to the author, 50 000 copies to 9.99 dollars have been sold.
If the functionality is now incorporated into the next version of IOS, the developer is particularly shocked by the resemblance between its logo and that of the official functionality. The public will be happy to see wireless syncing finally available.
It now will be made in the background when the device iOS be on the same WiFi network as the computer and will be connected to a power source.
