A company called VirnetX has sued Apple for patent infringement related to the type of VPN connections. According to VirnetX, Apple would have been used this patent to implement the VPN features on the iPhone, in order to establish a secure communication between two networked devices. The patent was registered in 2007 but published only a few days ago. Immediately after publication, VirnetX has sued Apple.

CEO Tim Cook Starts Charitable Program, Emails the ‘Team’
Tim Cook promised that Apple Inc. wouldn’t change when he took over the company’s helm from Steve Jobs in August.
But the low-key Mr. Cook has already put his operational mark on Apple in ways that suggest the company won’t be entirely the same as under its intense and tempestuous co-founder.
In recent weeks, Mr. Cook has tended to administrative matters that never interested Mr. Jobs, such as promotions and corporate reporting structures, according to people familiar with the matter. The new chief executive, 50 years old, has also been more communicative with employees than his predecessor, sending a variety of company-wide emails that address Apple employees as “Team,” people close to the company said.
It is another tablet to be available for Christmas. Motorola has announced that there will be Xoom 2 in version to be available in Europe by Christmas.
If you are interested in any tablet, then this Motorola Xoom 2 is absolutely interesting. This Xoom 2 will be thinner and smaller than the original Xoom. Xoom 2 is expected to run on Android 3.2 but upgradable to Android 4.0 by early 2012. For the WiFi model of Xoom 2, the price will be 399 € or you can opt 499 € for 3G model but this model won’t be available by Christmas.
