The latest rumor suggests that Tim Cook had traveled to Korea to start negotiations with the flagstones Samsung AMOLED the next iPad. If you believe the information unearthed by the Korea Herald, Apple already think the iPad 3 and Samsung would be the game. Indeed, Tim Cook, who replaces Steve Jobs at the helm of the company during his sick leave, recently visited South Korea to meet with some partners, including Samsung.

Apple has just approved the application on its 500 000th App Store . However, the virtual store iOS has only 400,000 actual applications, the 100 000 has been deleted, canceled or replaced. Launched July 10, 2008, the App Store had 500 applications at launch and 10 million downloads in the first weekend. The number quickly grew to 10,000 references to the catalog in late November 2008 and to 100,000 applications the following year before reaching the 300 000 applications in October 2010 and 350,000 in January 2011 with more than 10 billion cumulative downloads.

According to a paper released by the Patent and Trademark Office U.S., Apple is working on a method for dynamically reducing the viewing angle of a screen. The patent covers all types of devices, from iPod to Mac via iPhone and iPad. It aims to ensure that the user can reduce the viewing angle so that the display screen is not visible to people who are not exactly opposite.

Developers of iOS continue to be very active with some interesting ideas, such as the extension RecognizeMe available on Cydia. The latter allows to unlock their device iOS through facial recognition. The software compares the image of the face and with one already registered. The developer Apocolipse states that this extension uses two different algorithms for verification.

A few weeks before the release of its new operating system Mac OS X Leo, Apple refines the latest update of Mac OS X 10.6.8 with a second beta version distributed to developers. This version poses no problem in principle and Apple always asks developers to test the compatibility of their applications with AirPort drivers of the graphics card, the Mac App Store, VPN and QuickTime. This update weighs about 1 GB.

At the end of last week, Apple released the third beta version of Mac OS X Lion only distributed to developers. Several sources, including Netputing have found that the latest version of Lion included the possibility of installing new voice for the option to dictate text. Strangely, the voices provided by Apple are identical to those proposed by the company with Nuance’s software, like Dragon Dictate 2.0 . The voice offered by Mac OS X Lion does not install correctly and function is currently unusable, but the examples offered by Apple for each voice leaves no doubt about their provenance.

Come on everyone it is just a matter of time. Even now U.S. have enjoy this Netflix app on both Android and iOS but seem like not every Android is capable with this app. Due to the latest official release, a handful more were so lucky but Netflix is still working to solve more technical challenge. Alongside with Apple TV 4.2.2 update, Apple took the opportunity to update its software that goes into iPhoto ’11 version 9.1.3. It fixes an issue that divides events after syncing a device IOS.
