The publisher has launched the Intego’s VirusBarrier iOS application, a utility for detecting malicious software for mobile devices Apple. The editor states that if there is still no malware on the platform iOS, it can carry viruses or trojans via email or some files in the cloud. To Intego, iOS devices represent a new vector for the introduction of malware. VirusBarrier iOS therefore allows to analyze the e-mail attachments, other files they access on devices or iOS files stored in remote locations such as MobileMe, Dropbox, web servers or WebDav disks.

Last night, Apple released the third beta version of iOS 5.0. For developers, this update finally brings some stability while the entire system is faster. As for news, Apple has focused on accessibility with a function that improves AssistiveTouch use for people with motor problems. A white dot appears on the bottom right and simulates the actions of the physical buttons on the touch screen as the home button, increase or decrease the volume, shake the device, etc.. This feature also allows you to configure custom actions to two, three, four and even five fingers.

Apple updates some of its creative software for general public to prepare for the arrival of Mac OS X Lion in the best conditions. Those software are iMovie, GarageBand and iPhoto. Currently, all movies and TV shows are marked just in 720p HD, a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. If this definition is sufficient for viewing in a series on a laptop or an iPad, it is far to please everybody, especially those using an Apple TV on a large TV by releasing 1080p.

While the App Store has just celebrated its third anniversary and the store now exceeds 200 million devices iOS, developers take the opportunity to raise the price of some applications. Thus, according to a study published by Piper Jaffray, Gene Munster from home, the price of applications is up 14% over last year. The App Store, the average price of applications rose from 1.29 to 1.48 dollars in one year and is expected to increase to 1.61 dollars next year.

The shortage of iPad 2 resolves in three months after launch. Released in March, the iPad 2 is always difficult to find. Little by little, Apple manages to bridge the demand and delivery tims is faster than before. So far the iPad 2 was delivered in one to two weeks but now it is shipped in 3 to 5 days. Evidence that demand is slightly less strong and Apple has found a certain serenity at the production.

July 10, 2011, the App Store, the App Store for Apple device iOS, celebrated its three year existence. This shop was opened one year after the release of the original iPhone just in time for the release of the iPhone 3G. The launch was very successful as 3 days after the App Store had surpassed 10 million downloads. Three months later, in September, the shop already had 3,000 applications and was over 100 million downloads.

Just as soon as we can jailbreak idevices running on 4.3.3 iOS by jailbreakme.com, Apple engineers are on deck to address the problem obviously raises some concerns in terms of safety. We can assume that Apple is still seriously hate jailbreaking and this update might already been ready for long already but keeping to release once jailbreaking is possible.
