Apple has released iPhone 5 and iOS 6 together. Of course most developers are working on jailbreaking the iOS 6 as well as tweaks. It should take more time to complete the untethered jailbreak since now we only have tethered jailbreak.
One of our famous developers, pod2g has confirmed that he is not working on jailbreaking iOS 6 since he is focusing on his work but he might do in in the future. Without his anticipation, it would be problem for the update of Absinthe. This tool has been used to jailbreak iOS 5.1.1.

Very soon after the release of iOS 6.0, just about 24 hours, we have sensed the signal of jailbreak tool for A4 devices already. Thanks to our famous iPhone hacker, MuscleNerd tweeted that there is tool to tethered jailbreak but Cydia is not currently working but it should not be hard to overcome this challenge.
MuscleNerd previously has released their Absinthe tool to untethered jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 for all iDevices. However jailbreaking iOS 6.0 is still unclear since this latest OS is still available for developers so Apple will counter the jailbreak tool with more update. We do not expect the release of jailbreak tool for public for iOS 6 beta at the moment.

The Chronic Dev Team has made Absinthe to untethered jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 for all iDevices including iPhone 4S and iPad 3. Recently there were almost one million devices was untethered jailbreaked meanwhile iPad 3 takes up to 210,000 units.
Absinthe has been in fact the first tool able to jailbreak working on the new iPad and this has also contributed to its success. The team has also updated many times the version 2.0.2 of Absinthe to provide maximum stability and optimize it for the latest build of iOS 5.1.1 for iPhone 4 by Apple yesterday.
These numbers show that the jailbreak of the iDevice is increasingly popular among users, as demonstrated by the impressive data upload recorded by Cydia.

Jailbreaking iOS is what most of iOS users want. Now it is impossible to tethered jailbreak iOS 5.1 but at least pod2g, our famous iOS hacker, tweeted the progress of jailbreaking this latest iOS version. However it seems like it is not good news since it will take one or even two months.
If you want to enjoy using jailbreaking stuffs, do not update your iDevice to iOS 5.1 till there is an official tool to jailbreak this version.

Want to change do something with the notification on iOS 5? Recently available on Cydia, we have Vexillum which allows user to change the color of the notification on iOS 5 without pain. This tweak is FREE. You should understand that you must jailbreak your idevice.
It is very easy to use this tweak since you can access to the setting of Vexillum once it is installed. The setting section is available in the main Setting page. The user can choose the color you want by adjusting the RGB color.
