Everyone is so curious about the arrival of an iPhone with a large screen. If the Retina display iPhone with a resolution of 326 pixels per inch, this is not the case of the iPad with Retina display which is limited to a resolution of 264 pixels per inch. Based on this observation, Marco Arment has calculated that Apple could offer an iPhone with a screen of 4.94 inches with a resolution of 264 pixels.
This display would be 4.94 inches while a definition of 1136 x 640 pixels, the same as the iPhone 5, and then developers would do anything to support this new iOS device. In dimensions, the size of the new iPhone would be between a Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note 2.
In any case, Apple will have short or medium term to expand its range of phones, as it did with the iPod, and simply recycle older models, why not come with a mini iPhone, less expensive, and iPhone with larger screen.
It is all about the brand issue now. Let’s take a little break about legal issue of patent infringement. In Mexico, Apple is struggling to sell its devices there since the iPhone is too similar to iFone which is a telecommunications company in region.
iFone or iPhone?
The iFone trademark registered in Mexico in 2003 and the first iPhone hit the market 29th of June 2007. Back in 2009, Apple sued iFone of using this name which is too similar to iPhone but it turned out to be Apple is being sued now. iFone registered this trademark 4 years before iPhone made its appearance in the market.
Now iFone demands 40% of all iPhone sales in Mexico and the court there would not allow Apple to sell iPhone. It strongly will affect the launch of iPhone this weekend. We are waiting to see more improvement of this issue.
If you did miss, some iPhone users have complained about a purple haze on photo or video with iPhone 5’s camera. It appears to be hardware problem and here is the official respond by Apple:
Most small cameras, including those in every generation of iPhone, may exhibit some form of flare at the edge of the frame when capturing an image with out-of-scene light sources. This can happen when a light source is positioned at an angle (usually just outside the field of view) so that it causes a reflection off the surfaces inside the camera module and onto the camera sensor. Moving the camera slightly to change the position at which the bright light is entering the lens, or shielding the lens with your hand, should minimize or eliminate the effect.
Of course Apple acknowledges the problem but seem like there is no solution at all. The company even claimed that this problem happens with all iPhone but so far we only have heard on iPhone 5.
Now the solution to get rid of the purple haze is to get less expose to bright light.

Apple has done its best to change to design of iPhone but seems like nothing much change only to be taller and thinner for the iPhone 5. But to bring this change the company needs to use anodized aluminum on the back and edges.

If you want to grab the iPhone 5, you better hurry since now most stores reported that some iPhone 5 models were sold out. Learning from various data, iPhone 5 is available for walk-in-buy but you can’t buy your desired model since some models is not available.
Mostly the 16GB model is not available followed by the top 64GB model and 32GB model. It started from Friday and it should be sold out in the first week. So it is quite clear to say that if you don’t buy now, you need to wait for the next arrival.
Back to the previous story when iPhone 5 went on pre-order page at 12:01AM PST on Friday, I am pretty sure that you might already made your pre-order if you want this device since no one want to sit on the long row queuing for your turn. But now Verizon has confirmed that iPhone 5 can use data to browse internet while taking and Sprint has so has this problem since Apple offers Verizon and Sprint with the same iPhone model. Note that it only happens with LTE network.
But it turns the question to what AT&T has done with their iPhone that allows user to use data while talking. In fact, AT&T uses GSM instead of CDMA.
Previously Apple has announced that the iPhone 5 will start shipping on September 21st but it is delayed by two weeks. However event with this delay, the fans still enjoy waiting. If you are willing to grab this iPhone 5 you should try to get it with pre-order.
Now a head of the launching, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster has come with a number already that Apple can sell up to 10 million iPhone 5 within the first 3 weeks.
The iPhone 5 has announced making some fans disappointed and others like. It has been years already that Apple sticks with this design that most fans think that Apple will come up with something new. It doesn’t as what we expected and the same design is here changing only the specifications.
