Of course jailbreaking A5 devices are possible but there are something more to do to make it public. Learning from what pod2g has said on his blog, jailbreaking iPhone 4S or iPad 2 is possible but require developer account which is the reason why they can distribute the tool.

That is why we have seen jailbroked A5 devices on YouTube but not the tool to download. Here is what pod2g posted on his blog:

The exploit I used to inject the untethering files to the 4S relies on having a developer account, and can’t be released publicly.

It’s the same reason why @MuscleNerd has an iPad 2 tethered jailbreak but couldn’t distribute it.

So, we need to find a distributable exploit to remount the system partition read/write and to set Corona files at the correct places.

Learning from this, we can conclude that pod2g might have something in their mind already and hope that they can find solution soon and get the tool publicized next week as promised.

We have just got ourselves recovered from the battery life problem of the iPhone 4S and now seems like we have a new comer which is about outgoing call audio. The problem about this audio is quite varies from one to another users since they have similar but not exactly the same problem.

The main problem is that user can hear the outgoing call that the iPhone 4S caller can’t hear the receiver on their iPhone 4S only if they click on Speaker. The problem itself is not stable that with some call, they can hear while other not.

Some users even complaint about Siri disconnected while commanding for no reason which can be part of the audio problem too.

However till now there is no official solution from Apple. I am pretty sure that they are working on it and we should see some improvement soon.

Guy, it is not a joke but according to the recent tweet, pod2g has found solution to jailbreak A5 processor devices which mean that jailbreaking iPhone 4S and iPad 2 is possible. On his tweet he even claimed that the tool will be released next week. It is really big improvement after untethered iOS 5.0.1 for A4 processor device.

He even advices iPhone 4S and and iPad 2 user to upgrade to iOS 5.0.1. Can’t wait to grab this tool.

The new feature of Facebook called “Timeline” and that transforms the user’s personal page in his diary sort of media should also soon be landing on the iPad.

Actually this update should have been pushed out already but there were bugs found with the application. There will be more do with the update to avoid discomfort for the users.

We recall that the new version of Facebook for iPad with support to the Timeline should have been launched this month, but due to a number of bugs discovered at the last minute, it was decided to postpone the release in mid-January.
