BestBuy To Compete With Online Store by Adjusting Price

Best Buy Logo

BestBuy is one of the most visited stores and now it has a new strategy to compete with online stores by changing the price of each product to match with online store. It even offers free shipping for out of stock items.

It is a good reaction to be ready for the holiday seasons, Christmas and New Year 2013. This strategy is to counter those who visit Best Buy Stores but buy from other online stores instead. It turns to be “Showrooming” where people just come to see the price to compare with other sources (online) then purchasing the one with lower price.

It is good strategy if Best Buy can match with online price so the customers will buy directly from the store after comparing online.
