Yesterday at the close of the New York Stock Exchange, the Apple stock was at 363.39 dollars still losing 2.76% on the day. Apple’s market capitalization amounts to 337.17 billion dollars while Exxon Mobile at the same time lost 4.41% and its market capitalization is to 330.77 billion dollars.

August 2011, riot happened in UK and many companies was burned.Sony company, like others, is a collateral victim of riots currently affecting the country. If no one was hurt, the Sony warehouse of 20 000 square meters located in Enfield was still burning this morning as firefighters tended always to extinguish the fire. This warehouse operated by a subsidiary of Sony DADC was used for storing Blu-Ray, CD and DVD of the Japanese giant.

If one believes the figures for Net Applications, Windows XP just slipped below the 50% market share in July to 49.8%, losing 1.3 points from June Ten years old, Windows XP, Microsoft is still the most widely used system, although it is logically increasingly neglected in favor of Windows 7. A few days ago, Apple released an official statement announcing the downloading of more than one million copies of Mac OS X Lion on the Mac App Store. Sold 23.99 euros, the eighth major release of Mac OS X has sold faster than any other Apple operating system throughout its history. Admittedly, digital distribution allows a very quick return on the number of installations in contrast to the traditional distribution.
