ASUS has been taking its Prime Transformer very serious thanks to the tablets popularity around the World. Not to waste much time waiting, ASUS has announced on its Facebook which we can conclude that Prime Transformer will get Android 4.0 update as soon as January 12nd.
However ASUS has already alerted the users to concentrate about GPS and bootloader. In case of bootloader, it will be locked for you to keep the warranty and let you enjoy Google’s movie rental service. This is not the serious case since ASUS promised to provide bootloader unlocker soon.
Note that unlock bootloader will void your warranty.

We already have seen the release of Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 which is the first tablet to get Super AMOLED Plus. In addition, if Samsung is willing to create another 7-inch tablet, we are going to see this twin in the market in similar time. For some reason, the confrontation won’t rest when no side want to get away from this problem. Apple has been trying to stop Samsung from copying its patents by files complaints to different countries but now Samsung is getting another one on the move. In the U.S., Sony has announced a reduction of $ 100 for the price of their Tablet S: now the 16GB model is proposed at $ 400 instead of $ 500, while the 32GB version has dropped to $ 500 against $ 600 earlier. This the second price cut by Sony to compete in this business. In December, Sony cut the price of its tablets by $50 already.
Tablet is a new and very high competitive market where people are looking for high-end technology tablet with cheaper price. However Sony didn’t announce the specific number of units sold since the release till now. Of course it is not easy to dominate this tablet market since there are many strong dominants already including Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Amazon Kindle Fire.

Coming out of the wild, ASUS is willing to push out another AMD Brazos netbook in January. This netbook comes with the codename as Eee PC 1225B. It is powered by an APU-450 1.65 GHz with Radeon HD6320 graphics chip or C-60 to 1 GHz with HD6290 graphics chip.
Eee PC 1225B is expected to has a 11.6-inch LED display with a 1366 × 768, up to 4 GB of RAM, 750GB HDD, webcam, LAN, Bluetooth and a 6-cell battery. It weighs 1.4kg.
The expected price of Eee PC 1225B is about 349 Euros.

Tablet business is not ignorable since the popularity of using this device is much higher from year to year kicking away the heavy weight laptop. Acer also wants to be part of the tablet business too that we have seen the company has been trying to develop both budget and high quality tablets.
Of course it is not easy to be successful in first stand but Acer has been so success in 2011 and willing to go deeper in 2012 by producing fewer tablets with higher quality including material and tech support.

Wait! It is not yet time to say goodbye. Dell has just released an update for its Streak 5 to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Even if it is a very long time waiting but Dell doesn’t give up this device. It has been long time waiting for this official update but now it is here.
The update weights 155 MB and required the build stock recovery version 350. You will notice big change to the whole model. The update seems to bring new life to this Gingerbread tablet including user interface and performance. Now there is not changelog but it is expected to be released next days.
