Samsung has asked the court for the patent agreement between Apple and HTC and U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal granted the request. Samsung thinks that the agreement between the two companies must have some problems. If Samsung can find any violation, of course there will be more verdicts will come.
It is not the first time to see reaction from Samsung or Apple since the two companies have never found a way to ease the problem. They always meet each other in the court and both hurt in some way. Now we will see the development of this problem.
Recently HTC has just pushed Android Jelly Bean update for its most anticipate smartphone the One X. The company chooses to amuse its homeland citizens and those who are in Singapore. So now only Taiwan and Singapore can get this official update. The whole update weights 352.87MB and it is Over-The-Air update. After updating HTC One X to Jelly Bean, your device will run on Android 4.1.1 and HTC Sense 4+ to the One X.
To update, you need to get to “Setting”> “About device” > “Software update” > “Update”. Make sure that your device is connected to a stable WiFi network.
Hope HTC and the carriers can push this update for EU and U.S. as soon as possible.
Recently Best Buy allows pre-order for Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X for $149.99 and $99.99 respectively. Both come with two-year contract with free shipping offer and AT&T will be the carrier. Basically for Lumia 920, you can choose different colors of red, blue, yellow, black and white.
These two are the first Windows Phone 8 to hit the market before the end of 2012 but Best Buy didn’t state the exact shipping date. Hopefully it doesn’t be too long to wait.

Recently HTC has released the Q3 revenues report of $2.397 billion. It is not surprise to see this drop since HTC has been struggling with Apple and Samsung. The profit keeps dropping compared to the $3 billion in Q2 of 2012 and even more serious when comparing with the $4.45 billion in October 2011.
HTC expected further drop but has better growth in China market in the near future. HTC didn’t done well with Android and now the company is working closely with Microsoft to bring Windows Phone 8 smartphone to the market including HTC 8X and 8S.
The wave of Windows Phone 8 is flashing quite strong now. With good sign, FCC might approve the Verizon Windows Phone 8X sooner or later. This is a good hope for both the manufacture HTC and Verizon. We will be able to see another Windows Phone 8 in shelve in the near future. It is a good turn for Windows Phone to compete with iOS and Android.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X will come with GSM frequencies of 850 and 1900 making it go global easier.

HTC Velocity 4G has been in the market for a while already and now the company have released the user manual online. You can download the user manual
directly from HTC website. The download link can be found below. HTC Velocity 4G manual is in PDF format. The total size is 3.75MB with 225 pages long.
HTC accused Apple of violating two of their patents related to wireless network but Apple is trying to say that the patents owned by HTC does not have proper ownership of the patents. Talking more about the patents, HTC has bought them from ADC Telecommunications Inc in April 2011 for $75 million.
This is just the beginning stage and we should hear more from the court. However now seem like Apple might face difficulty to prove that the two patents are invalid.

Within the next few hours, HTC will push the update to your phone directly which is in OTA method so you don’t need to connect or use PC to update.

Silently HTC has managed to push update for its powerful smartphone, the One X, making the device running on Android 4.0.4 with Sense UI 4.1.
It is OTA update and the total file is 148MB. You should connect to WiFi network before downloading it. With the update, homescreen, web browser and image quality of camera and notification bar were improved.
