To provide a steady jailbreaking tool for A5 idevice, iPhone 4S and iPad 2, the developers has managed to update Absinthe to version 0.4. This tool can be used on Windows, Mac and Linux. If you haven’t jailbreak your iPhone 4S or iPad 2, you can follow our guide here.
Absinthe in the 0.4 release introduced the following new features:
- Introduced native support for OS X 10.5, PPC and Intel CPU (Mac);
- Added a new check to ensure proper placement of files;
- Fixed a bug in the generator of the payload that caused the program to crash.
