Recently an independent group in New York called “China Labor Watch” released statement proved that about 3,00 to 4,000 workers were on strike at Foxconn’s Zhengzhou on Friday since they had to work on public national holiday that they can have one week off.
However now Foxconn sent statement to Reuters, “there has been no workplace stoppage in that facility or any other Foxconn facility and production has continued on schedule.” He denied the report by the group are inaccurate. Foxconn even claimed that the production is on schedule. Foxconn paid workers who accept to work on the national day by 3 times more than the normal wage.
