icloud has finally arrived and is fully operational, replacing the previous service offered by Apple through MobileMe. However, some users may wonder how to remove any link from your Mac to MobileMe and in this sense we offer a guide to remove the icon from the MobileMe pane of System Preferences.
Despite a possible migration from MobileMe to icloud if this is still present on your Mac. It can continue to manage the space on your iDisk. To successfully remove it does not have to do is follow this series of steps:
- Close the System Preferences
- Go to/System/Library/PreferencePanes being careful not to remove anything wrong, as this can result in compromising some features of your Mac
- Copy the file to your Desktop MobileMe.prefPane so as to have a backup and then delete the original one;
- To play the previous step you have to enter the system password and once successfully completed, MobileMe will be completely removed.
