Auto Correction when typing is something common found on any typing device. On Mac OS X Lion, auto correction is also available but not all of users prefer this option. It can be double edge sword which can be irritate you when you want to type some words that does not listed in the system, the auto correction will try to find the one in the list and ignore the one you are typing. Simple Add the Word to System
It is simple as you read. All you have to do is to type the word and right click on it and choose “Add Word”. The system will consider the added word as correct one and won’t suggest you to change it any more. This is a good method for people use other language beside English while want to enjoy Auto Correction.
Turn of Auto Correction on Lion
To stay away, you can just turn it off. The system also allows you to turn of Auto Correction to do so you have to follow the following path: select “System Preferences” > click on “Language & Text” and remove the check mark in “Correct Spelling As You Type”.
You always can bring back the option by turning to the same section as stated above and check the it again.
