HTC is the leading manufacturer of mobile devices other than Sony can offer the ability to play PlayStation games. The confirmation comes from E3 in Los Angeles, the important event dedicated to the world of video games in which Sony has confirmed the partnership with the Taiwanese manufacturer. Already in February, we reported the first rumors about that, thanks to the recent confirmation resulted in certainties. The details of the agreement between HTC and Sony are not yet completely understood, but it is certain that HTC will be the first to offer devices with PlayStation certification.
Kouji Kodera, chief product officer of HTC, has confirmed that the titles will be available for the HTC One device, which, obviously, will have a rear PlayStation certification in the coming weeks and the ability to access PlayStation Mobile, a platform for Sony to gaming.
Currently, the only PlayStation certified device is Xperia Play smartphone. The company already has plans for some time to expand the channels of access to PlayStation Mobile, which will then also be used with devices other than those made in person by the Japanese manufacturer. HTC will be the first ally of Sony and that fact will be a further strength of the HTC terminals. In the case of devices like HTC One X, the alliance with Sony is added to that with Nvidia, helping to strengthen the vocation of the gaming device.
