The battery life problem with iPhone has been a very big concern for many time already and it is not the first time to see iOS update to fix battery life but seem like, thing is getting serious now since after an update already but the problem remains unfix. In this case, iPhone 4 or 4S running on iOS 5.0 or 5.0.1 still have battery life problem and an other OS update is about to release this week but it won solve the problem however Apple is trying to bring more with iOS 5.0.2.
iOS 5.0.2 is expected to release this week, on November 25 but seem like the battery life problem can’t be solved so Apple has decided to postpone the release to refine the update. Of course more time is needed to deepen the problem and it can tell us that it is very serious that Apple needs more time to characterize the problem.
However the update on iOS now is very easier since you don’t need to download the whole iOS and it is even available Over-The-Air.
Regarding to iOS update, you might want to hear that iOS 5.1 is expected to be released by early 2012 which will be the major update for Siri. It will be something more to do with controlling functions of the phone with Siri.
