Mac &Windows: How to Jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 Tethered for iPhone 4 and 3G and iPod Touch with Redsn0w

In this guide, we see how to jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 iPhone 4, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch the fourth and third generations by using Redwn0w for Windows and Mac. This guide allows you to have a jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 with a tethered. This means that in the event of a reboot or power down, you will need to connect it to your computer, start Redsn0w and select “just boot right now tethered” to unlock it and use it. Before proceeding make sure you’ve upgraded to iOS 4.3.5. If you have a non-jailbroken iPhone, then you can upgrade easily from iPhone OS 4.3.4 to the new firmware, but if you have a jailbroken device, you need to restore iPhone OS 4.3.5 (the end of the recovery and then you can jailbreak resume the last backup).

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Download iOS 4.3.5 and i OS 4.3.4 from this link

2. Download Redsnow 0.9.8b4 for Windows or Mac . Also make sure you have the latest version of iTunes, 10.4.

3. Redsn0w launches, click on Browse and select the firmware 4.3.4 (NOT the 4.3.5) downloaded in Step 1

4. After Redsn0w will recognize the firmware, click on Nexrt

5. Now select “Install Cydia” and click Next

6. At this point you have to put the iPhone into DFU mode. First turn off the iPhone and click Next again

7. Now follow the on-screen display:

  • hold the power button for 5 seconds
  • hold the key, press the home button for 10 seconds
  • leaves the power button and hold the home button for 15 seconds

8. If the procedure is successful, the procedure begins Redsn0w jailbreak, after which you have a jailbroken iPhone / iPod Touch.
