It is quite painful to say that Vista won’t be able to use Internet Explorer 10. It is not rumor but Microsoft has just told the public about this issue so if you are on Vista, you should stick with the previous IE version or go to an alternative web browser.
Microsoft has made this confirmation with Computerworld and it is clear enough. Vista is one of Microsoft’s latest version and the new update should be available for this OS but the company just decided not to develop the compatibility for this OS. I guess one of the main reason is the low market share for Vista.
Currently Windows 7 is standing at about 55% while XP is 20% and Vista is at as low as 5%. This is the lowest portion so Microsoft might just want to push the 5% to Windows 7 or doesn’t want to spend much energy.
