Ovum prediction over mobile phone OS in Asia that Windows Phone BlackBerry to be the top two leaders in this business. Learning from the prediction for smartphone market in 2016, seem like there will be big change from what we are right now. This time the affected area is that of Asia and the data show us the difference from year to year. Who will be the master?
Right now the most interesting OS are iOS and Android but seem like even the two won’t make it much better than Windows Phone and BlackBerry in the future mobile phone business. Windows Phone and BlackBerry will be the leader taking 25% of the market each meanwhile Android and iOS will cover the third and fourth places.
It is quite reasonable for Nokia to be the leader in Asia thank to the rich and fast distribution channels which are already exist in the market already. However BlackBerry has brought to the areas with exclusively form by some specific operators with special price and plan to cover for each subscriber. For BlackBerry, security is the number one priority and it is quite convenience for business people.
