Nokia's New Hope, MeeGo

With the big release of iPhone and Android, Nokia has seen several declines in profit especially for this Q 2 which is behind what Nokia expected. Anyway Nokia has claimed the new MeeGo OS which will be able to compete with iPhone and Android.

Mr. Vanjoki took the helm Thursday at Nokia’s newly created Mobile Solutions unit, which has been set up to bring all Symbian and MeeGo-related products into a single division to speed the development of new high-end devices.

However in addition to mobile phone, Nokia has promised to bring MeeGo platform tablet. The Nokia MeeGo platform tablet will be developed by Intel and Nokia with Atom processors. There will Google Chrome integrated for a faster web browsing but users can install another browsers.
