Partnership with Nokia To Cost Microsoft $1 Billion

This is another step by Microsoft to bring its new Windows Phone OS to this giant mobile phone manufacture. Of course this might be the reason behind the Android rejection of Nokia.

It is believed by paying upfront payment, Microsoft will be able to get back a fee for each Windows Phone 7 device Nokia manufactures. It does make sense for Microsoft that it is a great gate way for Microsoft to bring its Windows Phone OS to compete with Android and iOS.

According Laurie Armstrong a Nokia spokeswoman, the final agreement hasn’t been signed and the company will release more sensitive news once it is completed. For more comment, she declined to share any further.
