During the recent years, Android and iOS have done very well which turn out to kick other operation systems in a corner where they lost their share in the market. One among them is webOS from HP. Of course it is not a very young operation system but seem like it is not lucky enough to take the heart of mobile phone users.

Back flash to what we have known about the relationship between Samsung and HP, the purchase of webOS from HP is not a new matter since rumors have notified us once already but Samsung just kicked away the rumors. However now according to Digitimes, Samsung is once again interested in the webOS and will be the potential buyer.
It is quite reluctant to spend much money for this webOS while Android and iOS are in extreme progress. It would be very hard for Samsung to produce mobile phone based on its own operation system, webOS, to compete with the two. Moreover now Samsung is very successful with its Android smartphone line already such as Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab.
Anyway some turn to claim that Samsung purchases webOS is result of the acquisition of Google over Motorola Mobility.
In short, Samsung will have to cope with more obstacle if it will intend to produce its phone base on webOS ONLY but it would be much better to have its one operation system meanwhile catch up with Google Android.
