Sigma is set to launch in by the new super zoom lens with a focal range of 18-250mm. The new approach relies on a reduction in size of less than 12 mm (length) of the equivalent now marketed by the Sigma and 160 grams lighter. The structure consists of 16 elements in 13 groups, and a seven-blade rounded diaphragm.
The new super zoom super zoom f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM will be available for all Canon SLRs (July), Nikon, Pentax and Sony, at an unknown price. It is a goal that can satisfy all your needs thanks to its wide focal length range, even able to shoot macro with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2,9.
Sigma has used TSC (Thermally Stable Composite) to achieve such a reduction in weight, less deformable material in relation to temperature. Finally we have the autofocus served by an ultrasonic motor and the stabilization of the optics.
