According to various sources, some local store accepts exchanging iPad for those who want to get their hand on latest iPad. Rewind that for those who have purchased the 9.7-inch tablet last month. If you don’t want to carry two iPad at the same time, you can opt for this option.
However it is not the standard policy but it is only individual policy of each store so you need to find the store that offer the exchange policy in your local area. CNET stated that one Apple store in the Stockton Street branch in San Francisco is offering this upgrade so be fast before it changes the policy. You should contact your local store to make sure that they accept the exchange or not.
