More information is available for the new pair of Android tablet by Sony, S1 and S2. As what we have known about the two devices, something will be changed and it is about its official name and official release date. The official code name of Sony S1 should be Sony Tablet S while the S2 is Sony Tablet P. The two devices could be launched by Sony in the coming months because even though they actually come on the market may need some more time. Let’s go then to discover what might be the technical characteristics of these terminals.

Sony Tablet S
The device can count on a 1 GHz dual-core processor-based platform, the NVIDIA Tegra 2, 1 GB of RAM, two memory (16 and 32 GB), 9.4-inch display with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels, 5 megapixel camera, DLNA support, weighing 600 grams, Android 3.1 Honeycomb (which should be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich, when it is available).
Sony Tablet P
With a 1 GHz dual-core processor-based platform, the NVIDIA Tegra 2, the device can count on two 5.5-inch touch screen, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, microSD support, front camera 0.3 megapixels, 4G connectivity, WiFi, weight of 370 grams.
