To participate in the tablet market, Sony has up to two tablets to play around and now one of them, Sony S1 has some good news for the whole public thank to the approaching release date. The latest information over this tablet suggested that S1 will be available early September for the price tag of $599.
Not so different from other tablet, Sony S1 will be available with Android 3.1 but upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Opposite of its brother, Sony S1 has only one 9.4-inch touchscreen while the S2 has dual screen.
Sony S1 comes with 5 megapixels rear camera and 3 megapixels front camera. The SD memory cards for up to 2GB and SDHC memory cards for up to 32GB is enough to store your data. Other accessories include USB adapter and wireless keyboard.
With the release of this Sony S1, it reminds us about the ASUS Eee Pad Slider. The two are interesting tablets but we can compare the them with its original accessories.
