Recently Motorola has just released another smartphone with Android 2.1 OS in Korea. The new phone comes with codename of Moto QRTY A853. SK Telecom will be the carrier for Korean market.

Moto QRTY A853 features a 3.7-inch display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixel (WVGA), 256MB RAM, 512MB flash ROM, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 5 megapixel autofocus camera, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi, USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm headset port and aGPS.

It supports for WCDMA 2100 and triple-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz. Motorola should try to get this phone runs on Android 2.2 Froyo while it is already available on various phones such as Nexus One and HTC.

HTC Hero is one of the main products and now it can receive the update to Android 2.1. With this update, you will be able to unlock for Sim-Free which can be used with several European counties. The update is being distributed over-the-air download UK, the Netherlands, Sweden and Serbia.

HTC has also posted the image file on its website for OTA update but backup is highly recommended since the update may erase the existing data.
