Learning from the study of App crash specialist, Crittiercism, we can conclude that Android is better in term of App crash. It is quite clear to learn from the charts above and below. If you don’t want to miss this report, it was done with 215 million apps on different iOS and Android version.
Among all of iOS version, iOS 5.0.1 is the most vulnerable one since this is the major update of Apple with iOS 5. There are many new features with iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 is just the first update so Apple will solve the problem with further iOS update.
Looking closer into the app crashes on iOS device, iPhone is the higher with up to 74.41%, iPod Touch with 14.87% and iPad with 10.72%.

Learning from the rumor, we have heard that RIM might want to release BlackBerry Messenger for Android and iOS. In short this is it. However there is no official announcement from the company. It is acceptable to say that after the release of iOS and Android, BlackBerry declined rapidly.
It hurts the overall performance of the company but pushing this BBM to other platform might not good for the company. Originally on iPhone, we have iMessage, Chat ON for Samsung so RIM’s BlackBerry Messenger should be only on BlackBerry.
We are waiting for further development of this matter.

It is a very bad news to hear the statement of Yahoo over the closing of 10 of its application for mobile phone platform. Yahoo has many applications which allow users to enjoy its service directly from their smartphone for Android, iOS, BlackBerry and more.
However, not all of the services are enjoyable by the users, Yahoo stated in the statement, which force Yahoo to drop the support for them. Yahoo has just decided to bring those services down. There will be no support for them.

Before purchasing each product, users always look for what they can do with it. Indeed we can say that the more good applications available, the more attractive the device. It is very important for the company to build up good term with developers to create high-level applications to attract user.
The issue relating to applications for a platform like iPhone OS, but basically for any platform, it is by no means negligible, and that’s why Apple includes how important it is to keep on good terms with the developers, so as to provide high-level applications that tempt users to buy its devices. A symbiotic relationship, combined with a device like the iPad, seems to keep up the interest of developers to the iPhone OS.
This finding emerged from a study by Strategy Analytics , who has recently published the results of the questionnaires offered to developers, according to which seems to have been identified as the iPad is the optimal platform with which to attract developers from other operating systems. Also according to the questionnaire, the developers seem to prefer, after the iPad and iPhone, Windows Phone platform and the next Windows 8 that Microsoft might looking for the same strategy as Apple has done which make Windows 8 more competitive.
However it is not a secret that the main goal of a developer when it comes to choosing the preferred platform is to identify the one with the highest profitability, but there are also other aspects to consider, such as the sense of longevity and professionalism combined with a robust community support. This is precisely one of the obstacles for RIM, as well as for the Android platform very fragmented. From several other studies also showed that the majority of turnover is attributable to the in-app purchases, a particular aspect of the applications in the App Store that affect not just the fortune of Apple and developers, as the interface goes well with the concept of selling virtual goods, accompanying you through the purchase, something that perhaps should be taken from other platforms.
Remember that every time that Apple introduces new product especially the iPhone and iPad, it attracts the majority of users around the world. With no exceptional case, with the launch of iPad 3, Apple will be able to sell as many as 50 million units in 2012.
This 50 million units will cover all models not just the iPad 3. However seems like Android should not be the main rival in tablet market for Apple but the Amazon Kindle Fire thank to the budget price and compact size.
However we are still waiting to see how Apple designs this new iPad but it is expected to come with new hardware to boost performance. In addition we also want to see the price decrease of iPad 2 after the launch of iPad 3 too.

We have seen the high growth of Android since the beginning of 2011 pushing as high around 60% but seems like the number start to decrease to 46.9% when Apple introduces the new mobile phone model iPhone 4S.
The popularity of Android started to decline in Q4 of 2011 from 61.1% to 46.9% which is a very serious decrease meanwhile iOS rose from 25.1% to 44.5% in the same period. This is a very good performance of Apple with the new iPhone 4S which totally prove that iPhone 4S is very popular now.
We are waiting to see the new generation iPhone and iPad if they can attract the attention of more users or not.

The quest is solved now thanks to a study on the user of mobile phone for business purpose. The study was conducted by Check Point over 768 well-known companies around the world including United States, Canada, Germany and Japan.
The study shows that iOS is the most used which cover about 30% follow very close by BlackBerry with29%. The third place is Android which has 21% and Windows Mobile or Windows Phone has 18%.
If we look at the cyber or malware attack rate, Android has as high as 43% meanwhile iOS with 36%. BlackBerry is better with 22%. However the study turns to put the concern over the knowledge of the phone user that they simply do something or press any button which allow the malware or cyber attack to play with their security.

The problem between Apple and Samsung has never been at ease. Even with ongoing lawsuit in many countries, Samsung is so eager to push Apple to a corner by filing a complaint with U.S. California court asking for disclose the terms of the partnership between Apple and Qualcomm over the chipsets supply for Apple products.
Samsung has lost to Apple over this chipset patents since Apple claimed that they have cross-licensing agreement with Qualcomm for using the chipset. However Apple has never shared more evident over the agreement making Samsung to file another request to the court.
We are still waiting to see the reaction of Apple and the California court.
