Come on guy, now we have official information from Apple regarding to iPad Mini which is the newest device of the company to fill the market before holiday season. The new iPad Mini has a smaller screen than the long-seen iPad of 7.9-inch. It is absolutely the killer of other tablet with similar screen thank to the price tag and specifications. As what we have seen with the Google Nexus 7 with 7-inch display as well as other Galaxy Tab 7 Plus.

Recently Best Buy allows pre-order for Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X for $149.99 and $99.99 respectively. Both come with two-year contract with free shipping offer and AT&T will be the carrier. Basically for Lumia 920, you can choose different colors of red, blue, yellow, black and white.
These two are the first Windows Phone 8 to hit the market before the end of 2012 but Best Buy didn’t state the exact shipping date. Hopefully it doesn’t be too long to wait.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 has announced for a while already leaving us finding the availability detail of this terminal. Now Lenovo has just announced official information about price tag, specs and release date.
ThinkPad Tablet 2 will come with price tag of $649. It runs on Windows 8 OS. Other features include a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1,366 x 768 resolution, 3G or 4G connectivity selection, a 10 hour battery, dual 2MP/8MP cameras, 3 USB port and HDMI. It is on AT&T’s LTE network.

Back to the previous story when iPhone 5 went on pre-order page at 12:01AM PST on Friday, I am pretty sure that you might already made your pre-order if you want this device since no one want to sit on the long row queuing for your turn. But now Verizon has confirmed that iPhone 5 can use data to browse internet while taking and Sprint has so has this problem since Apple offers Verizon and Sprint with the same iPhone model. Note that it only happens with LTE network.
But it turns the question to what AT&T has done with their iPhone that allows user to use data while talking. In fact, AT&T uses GSM instead of CDMA.

AT&T has a great welcome for the new iPhone 5 which was announced by Apple recently. With press release, it is officially announced that customers can enjoy unlimited data plan for the LTE iPhone 5 even they upgrade with subsidized price.
This is the special deal by the company if you compare with other. Verizon allows customers to get the unlimited data plan but they have to purchase iPhone 5 in full price not subsidize.

It is just a matter of time for Samsung to push the Galaxy Note 2 to U.S. market but now seem like it is almost the right time. According the screenshots, this large display smartphone is already in testing stage of AT&T. We should be able to see this handset on Verizon as well. The variant is powered by the quad-core Exynos processor just as expected. There is not specific release date but it is in Coming Soon label.

With the criticism by Public Knowledge group, the FaceTime may violate FCC rule. In respond to this manner, the carrier, AT&T, has written to the group regarding to the company stand over this matter. Of course FaceTime is a pre-installed app which can be disable by the carrier itself. However the carrier can’t pre-instal app but the users can download other similar app to enjoy video call from the Google Play. You can read the statement from AT&T below:
The FCC’s net neutrality rules do not regulate the availability to customers of applications that are preloaded on phones. Indeed, the rules do not require that providers make available any preloaded apps. Rather, they address whether customers are able to download apps that compete with our voice or video telephony services. AT&T does not restrict customers from downloading any such lawful applications, and there are several video chat apps available in the various app stores serving particular operating systems. (I won’t name any of them for fear that I will be accused by these same groups of discriminating in favor of those apps. But just go to your app store on your device and type “video chat.”) Therefore, there is no net neutrality violation.
