After having conducted trials of capped services and overages in Reno, Nevada and Beaumont, Texas in 2008 till 2010, AT&T finally announces to implement a new 150GB monthly usage cap for all DSL customers and a new 250 GB cap on all U-Verse users starting on May 2. All AT&T users will receive a notification about the change in the company’s term of service from March 18 to March 31. According to AT&T spokesman Seth Bloom, the cap will involve overage charges. However, only users who consistently exceed the new caps three times (for the third month) will be force to play these new per byte overages. The overages charge will be $10 for every 50GB over the 150 GB or 250GB limit.
Tomorrow will be the launch day of the second generation if iPad (iPad2). This is just a rewind for those who are addicted to iPad. AT&T Inc and other corporations do not have personal privacy rights to prevent disclosure of federal government records about them, the Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday.
The justices unanimously overturned a ruling by a U.S. appeals court for the telecommunications company that corporations can assert personal privacy in claiming the records should be exempt from disclosure.
The high court, in an opinion written by Chief Justice John Roberts, agreed with the Obama administration’s argument that the personal privacy exemption under the Freedom of Information law applied only to individuals, not to corporations.

Yesterday HTC has announced its two Android Facebook smartphones with code name of Cha Cha and Salsa. These are HTC’s first phones dedicate for Facebook social network.
To respond to these Cha Cha and Salsa, AT&T has announced it will be the carrier for US citizens; however they still didn’t announce the release date and price. The combination of Android and Facebook special feature, I guess it will be one of most interesting one.
