Olympus has just released the successor to its compact SZ-30MR, a camera that has changed only a few finishing aesthetically abandoning the silver color and has maintained its 16 megapixel sensor and the same 24x optical zoom (25-600mm). What we are talking about is SZ-31MR.

The real revolution has occurred in the past with an update by a processor TruePic III to the more modern TruePic V, bringing improved performance in low light, more options in the choice of scenes and more quality when you use the powerful zoom.

The new SZ-31MR has a 3-inch rear LCD, sensitivity up to ISO 6400 and is capable of recording Full HD video content to 1080p and 30fps. The camera has been implemented technology IHS (Intelligent, High-Sensitivity and High-Speed) that will allow you to capture images more vivid and sharp. The sale will start in April at a price of $399.

Damian Dinning, one of the gurus for the camera in Nokia, has recently spoken on the rumor of the 12 megapixel camera on Lumia 910. If you still remember, the news related to the evolution of 12 MP camera on the next Lumia phone was so interesting but now everything is clear and no such camera.

However there is an interesting thing that you should know is that Lumia 900 will come with 8.7 MP CarlZeiss camera. We are waiting to see if Nokia will reveal these smartphone on MWC 2012 or not.

Steve Jobs’s Biographer Confirmes Jos Working on TV, Textbooks and Photography

Once again, Steve Jobs’s official biographer, Walter Isaacson, talks about the projects that Steve Jobs was involved before his death. In an interview with the newspaper New York Times , journalist and writer has confirmed that Jobs was working on an television product of Apple with the main goal to eliminate the complicated remote controls.

Android and iOS capture 58% of portable gaming revenue in 2011 climbing from 19% in 2009. It is quite surprise to see such fast improvement by these two OS. Actually it should say that these result is widely thank to Steve Jobs. Foxconn Replace Workers with Robots

This may be the next revolution in China. To reduce production costs, the giant Foxconn, which manufactures consumer electronic products for major brands like HP, Dell or Apple, has announced the replacement of more than one million workers by robots in the next three years. The company currently uses 10 000 robots, that figure should rise to 300,000 before reaching the one million units by 2014.

The company currently has 1.2 million employees. The founder of Foxconn did not say by how much the machines would replace the workers. So far, the workers still cost cheaper than robots, but current technology could lead to the replacement of workers by machines at a lower cost.

This news is quite positive for the workers currently working in difficult conditions. They will be gradually replaced by machines and an army of technicians engaged in maintenance robots.

Apple Dock Connector USB 3.0 and DisplayPort

The Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. document regarding a new type of dock connector , or rather an evolution of the current connector used by Apple. This new version supports USB 3.0 and DisplayPort protocol. Transfer between iPod, iPhone and iPad or a Mac could reach a theoretical speed of 5 Gb / s, or about 600 MB / s, against only 480 Mb / s with USB 2.0 currently used (60 MB / s), provided that the gain should be especially valuable for the next generation of IOS device is expected to reach a capacity of 128 GB

Apple – iPhone 5 Won’t Have NFC This Year

According independent, Apple is not going to include the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for the next generation iPhone. Due to the lack of a clear standard across the industry, Apple intends to skip “wave and pay” chips in the new iPhone this year. Yet Apple is understood to be working on its own NFC proposition, which would link payments through iTunes. So, it is mostly likely that the technology in a handset likely to be released next year.
