Recently Twitter has just announced that there are 10 million active users in UK alone. With this number, UK is the fourth biggest number of twitter of the World. One of the reason behind this huge number it is to do with connectivity of users since there are about 80% of UK user connect to Twitter via mobile phone meanwhile it is about 55% worldwide.
In short about Twitter, it has about 140 million users worldwide tweeting over 340 million tweets per day.

It feels more and more often speak of Flipboard, this new application also recently landed in the Google Play Store with the new Galaxy S3 (for now is exclusive to this device) that has become a great success among the owners of an iDevice, both its graphical interface, both as an organizing news of interest to us.
For the uninitiated, Flipboard creates a true custom magazine that combines everything that is shared with your account: we will find news feeds from Facebook, tweets of your Twitter, photos of friends on Instagram, the SoundCloud and more thanks to integration with services like Google Reader.

A District Court judge in Virginia has given its verdict. It was the first to decide on this matter before a federal court. As you can see the case happened in America and it was very strange.
The case before Judge Raymond Jackson was this: a local sheriff had fired six of its employees because of their actions that they had “impeded the harmony and efficiency of the office,” according to the New York Times. Later it was discovered that one of these people had clicked on the “like” the sheriff’s political opponent in the page.
To clarify this issue, we must specify that civil servants in Virginia are free to express themselves on political issues, even if that means supporting the person who wants to replace your head. But the “Like”, for now, there is a way to express themselves verbally, and then, in this case, freedom of speech can not be regarded as such. This is simply press a button, nothing more.
Meanwhile, lawyers are already planning to appeal. The question remains: what are the reasons for dismissal and whether they are indeed correct in law, because it also discusses the fact that, on Facebook, friends of the person laid off may have been somewhat restricted by the thought of public servant. For now, the public seems more focused on the social phenomenon that the real question.

Facebook has been trying to move closer to mobile platform as now the company is about to release opportunity for developers to create apps mainly for mobile phone including Android, iOS and Windows Phone. It is App Center. This option will let Facebook’s subscribers enjoy the games from their mobile phone directly.
The new applications and games will be built fully integrated for mobile phone just as what we can do with PC. It will bring benefit for both Facebook and its subscribers as it is a new way for the company to make more money meanwhile subscribers can enjoy more fun within this single social network.

NEW YORK (AP) — Facebook is updating its data use policy in an attempt to give people more clarity on how the company uses information they share.
As part of the changes, Facebook is also signaling that it may start showing people ads on sites other than Facebook, targeting the pitches to interests and hobbies that users express on Facebook.
The move comes a week before Facebook Inc.’s expected initial public offering of stock. Facebook held events with potential investors this week, including one in Silicon Valley on Friday, and it has posted a version of its road show online. The offering could value Facebook at nearly $100 billion — more than Kraft, Ford and other major brands.

Nokia has recently obtained a patent for the automatic sharing content from a mobile device to a social network including Facebook, Twitter, or some others. To patent a similar idea is not to be underestimated, especially when you consider that many social networks have not worked much on the sharing feature on mobile platforms (especially Facebook).
The patent was registered by Nokia back in 2008, taking advantage of drafts that reflected the lines of Symbian S60. The idea would share (of course in auto) news, pictures, music and places on their account. The sharing of content can also be carried out also selectively, for certain specific groups of people.
