Official: Zynga Layoffs 100 Employees of The Ville & Zynga Bingo Teams

Seem like the bad time of Zynga doesn’t stop easily. Today the company has laid off 100 employees shutting down office in Boston. It is 2/3 of the total employees who are working on The Ville game.

This strategy is to deal with future business base on significant drop of the active user of The Ville. Zynga CEO Mark Pincus first tries to cut cost to maintain overall process. Learning from previous report, The Ville has around 26.2 million active users but now it drops to 17.5 million during the last 30 days.

Facebook Official Financial Report of Q3 2012

Recently Facebook has celebrated its success in Q3 2012 revenue with the release of financial report showing the $1.26 billion jumping from $1.18 billion Q2 2012. Less than one hour after this announcement, Facebook stock increases by 2.5%.

Facebook Takes Down Facial Recognition for EU

After the auditing by Data Protection Commission in Ireland, Facebook has decided to totally turn of facial recognition system for European Union. Now the service is no longer and blocked.
