During the presentation of the iPad 2, Steve Jobs had said that 2011 would be one of the second generation iPad , thus cutting short the rumors that Apple would offer the iPad 3 from the end of year to stick a bit more with the holiday season to season.

I noticed there are a lot of problems since the launch of iPad2 last month. First, iPad2 costumers complained about the yellow tinting problem at bottom of screen of their iPad2. Now, there is another problem related to the connectivity with the Verizon 3G network. According to Apple’s forum pages, iPad2 customers complained about the same thing, the iPad 2 WiFi + 3G Verizon Cellular Data Issue.

Just as usual, the number of Apple products sold in the market kept double every time their new products launched. Not different, iPad2 has been more successful compared to iPad 1. The sales iPad 2 are better than the original model and Apple would have shipped between 2.4 and 2.6 million iPad 2 during March.

In china and most countries in Asia, people always honor their ancestors by burning paper tokens such as monopoly money and paper items. In order to earn more money, a prayer item shopkeeper Jeffrey Te came up with an idea of making a fake iPad2 (paper iPad2) to sell during the Qingming festival, also known as the tomb sweeping festival. Jeffrey Te said “some of my customers have dreams where their departed relatives will ask for luxury items including the iPad 2 … but I can only offer them the first iPad model.” Even it is just a paper iPad (not iPad2), all 300 paper iPads sold out very quickly with pricing  for only 1 dollar each.

EBay company compiled the sales data iPad 2 to know which countries the tablets were sent during the first two weeks of marketing. To recap, the iPad 2 was sold March 11, 2011 in the United States and only two weeks in 25 other countries are more eager to go through eBay to recover the precious iPad 2 before everybody.
