However that is not the end of iBook on jailbroken iPhone, you will only receive this message for books bought from iBookstore so you can enjoy using it to read other books.

This new tweak features the whole Google Maps but adding voice navigation to make it easier while driving. Right now this turn-by-turn voice is already used in some place already but not everyone can get it.

iOS 4.1 Update To Be Jailbreak by Bootrom Exploit
Apple has officially released the update of its iOS to 4.1 which is compatible with the iPhone 4, iPhone 3G/S, 2G iPod Touch, and 3G iPod Touch.
Incidentally, it’s also on this day that a new bootrom exploit has been found which can be used on the upcoming iOS 4.1 jailbreak. If you may recall, Apple plugged the hole used by the JailbreakMe site with iOS 4.0.2 so hackers needed to find a new way to jailbreak iOS 4.1. Today, pod2g has found one, and if the reports are true, this is one exploit Apple can’t fix with a simple iOS firmware update or bootrom patch. A completely new set of hardware will be required to counter this new bootrom exploit.

I guess the title says it all. iPhone Dev Team member MuscleNerd has confirmed that the newly discovered bootrom exploit by pod2g indeed works, and the best part is with all current iOS devices. Yup, that means the upcoming iOS 4.1 jailbreak will work, not only with the iPhone 4, but also with the 4G iPod Touch and the iPad. It may not be a userland jailbreak like JailbreakMe, but it will definitely be another universal iPhone jailbreak. We’re not too sure though if this will still be the case when iOS 4.2 for the iPad rolls out in November, but give that this new exploit needs a hardware change in order to patch it, chances are it’ll still work even with the new iPad iOS version.
There’s still no ETA as to when this iOS 4.1 jailbreak will hit town. So if any clues of you guys out there have any clues, feel free to chime in in the comments section below.

iOS 4.1 Available on September 9 While Jailbreak Remain Unclear
For iPhone jailbreak users, it is not recommended to update your devices to iOS 4.1 since there is not way to jailbreak it yet. It is a good news to hear that the iOS 4.1 is available for download very soon meanwhile iOS 4.1 jailbreak is still not clear to be available. Since Apple keeps releasing its update quite fast, jailbreak team decided to pass on iOS 4.0.2 already and now the same fate may happen with iOS 4.1 too due to the release of iOS4.2 may take place this november.
It is quite possible to predict that the jailbreak team will pass on till iOS 4.2. However it is still not clear, just hope that there will be iOS 4.1 jailbreak.
