Microsoft is proud of the enthusiasm generated by IE 9 and is doing everything to boost downloads of the RC version.
A few days ago, we invite you to download the Release Candidate of Internet Explorer 9 , the browser version shortly before the final version of which publication is imminent. Today, Microsoft is very proud to announce that its new browser, attracts crowds, having recorded more than 2 million downloads in five days of availability. In five months, the beta version of IE 9 was accumulated over 25 million downloads, confirming the expectation of the public for “the first modern browser from Microsoft,” as described there is little the head of Mozilla Europe.
It must be said that IE 9 draws a line under the past and is as complete and powerful than its direct competitors, Firefox to Chrome via Safari. A sine qua non for the return of Internet Explorer in the foreground, after seeing for many years its market share continues to fall.
Look like something quite official is revealing thank to a series of interview with top ranking Nokia employers. We are not so surprise with the fast Nokia Windows Phone 7 introduction to the market since we have seen its Windows Phone concept already just a few sec from the partnership announced.
We can somehow confirm, according to reliable sources, that Nokia is trying to penetrate market share with its new cheap Windows Phone 7. It would be quite interesting to see this new powerful OS running on one of the best mobile phone company especially with cheaper price.
If Nokia can achieve a better performance smartphone with cheaper price, I am pretty sure that they will be able to get back the lost market share from Apple iPhone and other phone running one Google Android.
Now what we know is that Nokia need to be changed to compete the super fast growing mobile phone market. Of course Nokia did choose to work with Microsoft and planed to bring Windows Phone 7 to its futures smartphone.
However, meanwhile Nokia is working with Microsoft, Google also want to be part of the party. Google is trying to convince Nokia to use Android operating system on its future smartphones but Nokia already chose Windows Phone 7. According to Google CEO Eric Schmidt Google still welcome the future agreement if Nokia want to work with Android in the future.
In the effort to convince Nokia, Google did state that more than 300,000 activations daily which is the Top world class achievement. Of course now only Android is the only one competitor with iOS.
At Mobile World Congress, Steve Ballmer has just announced that there will be multitasking and cut-and-paste functions very soon, next month.
Currently Windows Phone 7 already supports multitasking for its own apps but not for third party apps while cut-and-paste functions is still nowhere yet. Now if you are pressing and hold the back button, you will see a series of recent used apps where you can navigate back to the past. However the exact release date of these two functions is still VERY SOON.
In addition, Microsoft also promised to bring the new Windows Phone 7 handset which will support CDMA networks which will turn its head to Sprint and Verizon. However Microsoft still didn’t show the new handset at MWC 2011.
MeeGo was once announced last year and everyone thought that it will be the future of Nokia smartphone OS to compete with iOS and Android but now seem like Nokia fails to make it that great.
Nokia is not the only one should be blame since it wanted to abandon this OS once already but Intel wanted to keep up with MeeGo and created team to develop this OS.
At MWC 2011, we can manage to get hand-on videos of MeeGo Tablet which was quite disappointing. The process is quite slow. The MeeGo allows its users to slide the panel to access music, picture, video, apps and more. One more thing is that there is no pinch-to-zoom.
If you take a look at the best OS now such as iOS, Android or even WebOS, MeeGo is quite far behind and need more develop to compete. However Intel and Nokia have strong commitment to bring the best OS for their future devices. Of course the partnership and the announcement of Windows Phone 7 will be one of the key future systems.
In is a nature of changing especially when partnership starts like this. In this case of Nokia and Microsoft even the partnership was just announced but we have heard quite a lot of change. Coming up first was the leak of Nokia’s Windows Phone 7 and now the current Nokia USA president Mark Louison was replaced by 15-year Microsoft sales and marketing veteran Chris Weber.
These are the way they are trying to reform their internal situation. There should be something more remarkable to come very soon.
We will try to find out.
Just very soon after hearing that Nokia and Microsoft has agreed on its partnership, new Nokia’s Windows Phone 7 concept leaked. Of course it is not a mistake to hear that there will be new Nokia running on Windows Phone 7 but it should not be so early like this.
However there is not much detail about what or how the new Nokia will be but some people hope that there will be an update for a series of latest Nokia smartphones for Windows Phone 7.
N8, C6, C7 and E7 are all of the best latest smartphones. Will there be OS update for Windows Phone 7?
Without a doubt that Nokia is one of the leading mobile phone around the world now but due to the release of iPhone and Android, seem like most people just forget most of Nokia smartphone.
With this result, Nokia lost significant market share to iPhone and some other devices on Android. However now Nokia has confirmed its partnership with Microsoft and it will bring something big to the World mobile phone market.
Of course now Internet Explorer is one of the most used web browsing around the world but FireFox and other web browsing are becoming quite popular now.
To maintain Internet Explorer, Microsoft has just released its Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate and it is available for download now. IE 9 is very much different from its previous version if you take a look at the whole change including interface, One Box, Pinned Sites, SmartScreen Filter, Focused on your websites and Seamless with Windows 7.
Today mobile phone platform is quite complicate such as iOS and Android. If we are talking about Microsoft Window Mobile, it is one of the oldest mobile phone platforms but Windows Phone 7 is not really very successful compared to the iOS and Android.
To make sure that its users can enjoy using this platform easier, Microsoft has copy & paste feature update. To what we have known, the update was expected to be released in February but now seem like the new expected update release date will be on March 8th thank to some reliable source such as ZDNet and Neowin.
