The Korean manufacturer LG is riding the wave of ads. After a year in 2012 resulted in the sale of 55 million phones, LG plans, according to the Korean Times , to sell 75 million mobile an increase of 36%.
The Korean manufacturer wants to increase its sales and market share from one year to another, it is also the case for 2013. After year 2012 ended with about 55 million mobile phones, LG wants to accelerate the pace to 75 million phones sold in 2013.
New smartphones should be announced during the Mobile World Congress, the most important event for Mobile Phone, held in Barcelona, including a 5.5-inch Full HD model highly anticipated since it is supposed to be the standard bearer of the brand. 2011 was the success year for Samsung over the sales of tablets and mobile phones that we have seen that Samsung has managed to exceed 300 million phone already. In addition 2012 will be another year of more success in this same field that the predicted increase would be around 15% which make the overall sales of mobile phone to 375 million units (150 million units are expected to be smartphone).
This figure was published by the Korean Economic Daily. The source also indicated that the top mobile phone manufacture, Nokia, would be able to sale approximately 399 million mobile phones in the same year narrowing the gap between the two companies, Nokia and Samsung.

What a stunning record of this Korean mobile phone manufacture! According to a record of Samsung, the company has already sold over 300 million phones worldwide already and now counting. This is a very great performance in such competitive business. Back to 2010, Samsung has sold only 280 million phones.

According to IDC, the report would indicate the numner is a little over 100 million smartphones sold in the second quarter, 65% more than in 2010. The global market for mobile phones grew by 11.3% in the second quarter of 2011. Its most active segment, the smartphone, displays for its annual increase of almost 65.4%!

HTC has released strong results for the second quarter of 2011. The Taiwanese company shows a turnover of over NT $124.4 billion or about 2.99 billion euros, an increase of just over 100% in one year! HTC has sold 12.1 million smartphones in the last three months, 124% more than in 2010. The average selling price of smartphones from the manufacturer was 349 dollars this quarter, down slightly sequentially but up from last year.

Recently, Google said that users will no longer find unique QR code in their Places accounts.
