In recent weeks have been several rumors appeared on the net that Samsung Galaxy S III, the successor Android of the Korean manufacturer, will be appeared on the stage at Mobile World Congress 2012 in January. However let me make it clear that there is no official announcement from Samsung yet but this rumor was wide spreaded.
According to rumors reported by the Korean site ETNews, Samsung have decided to give the Galaxy S III processor, quad-core hypothesis that seems plausible when one considers that even HTC, one of the main “rival” company in Asia, is working on least a smartphone driven by a processor of this type.
Another feature that should not be missing on the Samsung Galaxy S III is a Super AMOLED Plus display with HD resolution (1280×720 pixels), the standard WVGA finally abandoning his predecessor’s. The terminal may also rely on 2GB of RAM and a more powerful camera probably with 12 megapixels.
Also according ETNews, Samsung would have to work on their smartphone to include 3D technology, not only as a 3D display as well as the ability to capture 3D pictures and record video in 3D. Apparently, however, it has not yet taken the final decision on the possibility or not to implement these features on the Samsung Galaxy S III.
It seems likely, then, it will be the Mobile World Congress 2012, the event chosen by Samsung as a showcase for the launch of its new flagship Android.
