
This is a very great project by Google with partnership with DonorChoose.org aiming to help teachers providing the portable notebook to their students. To get these Chromebook, the teachers need to apply for the quantity notebooks and waiting for people to donate to support the request and once it is completed, the notebooks will be provided to the classroom.
If you are student and want to share this information, please send the official announcement from Google Blog to your teacher so that he or she can consider requesting the Chromebook for their students.

Joe Lockhart, Facebook Inc’s head of global communications and a former press secretary for President Bill Clinton, is leaving the social networking company, Facebooksaid.
Lockhart, who is the latest high-profile executive to departFacebook following its disappointing initial public offering in May, is leaving 15 months after joining the world’s No.1 social network.
A Facebook spokeswoman said that Lockhart is leaving because he decided he wanted to remain on the East Coast, and did not want to move to California, where Facebook is headquartered.

Since Google has acquired Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion one year ago, the company can’t perform better that what it has been before falling into the hand of Google.
Of course mobile phone business is a very challenging one. Now Google has announced layoff 4,000 people at Motorola which is about 20% of total workforce. With this layoff, the company will be able to ease the burden.

Nokia has been through a very bad condition since the release of iOS then followed by Android. Dropping from the first place, Nokia is now in another stage of financial crisis. The situation now led to doubt inside many analysts over the possibility of financial resource over the coming months.
Living in this situation, it turns the company in to another stage of non-Nokia honor to its debts. However Nokia has strong commitment to gain back the market popularity as well as market share with its Lumia series. It is quite clear to say that the partnership with Microsoft to adopt Windows Phone can’t help the company much. Should it be time for Nokia to go with Google for Android?

After falling into the bottom of smartphone market, Nokia is trying to do its best with partnership with Microsoft to bring the best of Windows Phone. Currently there are only few Windows Phone in Nokia line and of course Lumia 800 is one of the key products. To enhance the performance of the phone, Nokia will push software update to various countries on different date.

The problem between Apple and Samsung has never been at ease. Even with ongoing lawsuit in many countries, Samsung is so eager to push Apple to a corner by filing a complaint with U.S. California court asking for disclose the terms of the partnership between Apple and Qualcomm over the chipsets supply for Apple products.
Samsung has lost to Apple over this chipset patents since Apple claimed that they have cross-licensing agreement with Qualcomm for using the chipset. However Apple has never shared more evident over the agreement making Samsung to file another request to the court.
We are still waiting to see the reaction of Apple and the California court.

Gartner has just published its latest research report on the share of smartphone operating system market in Q3 2011. In just one year of Android’s market share has doubled from 25.3% to 52.5%. According to forecasts, the first “wave” of Nokia smartphones based on Windows Phone Mango on the market should begin by the end of 2011. This latest information turn to suggest that the Nokia Windows Phone Mango is more likely available by the first quarter of next year.
By learning from Nokia in Australia, the Windows Phone Nokia won’t be release till Q1 of 2011 and the company can’t share anymore specific release date.

According to a source close to the component suppliers for Apple, the Cupertino company had reduced its orders for brand Philips LED flash which is currently spotted on iPhone 4. This suggests that Apple would use a different type of flash or at least one other supplier for its next iPhone.
