A group of hackers who call themselves Anonymous and takes a very dim view of the tenacity of Japanese console makers against hackers who brought down the protections of the PlayStation 3 – including George Hotz and Alexander Egorenkov – decided to move to the offensive.
Previously Mick Hocking studio director of SCE Europe, revealed that some 20 PlayStation 3 in stereoscopic 3D development were in the studios affiliated with Sony. He also went further by explaining that with the assistance of third-party publishers, more than 50 games in relief were in the “pipeline” for the console that was updated to be compatible with the display of games and movies in 3D June.
Sony officially announced that PS3 uses cloud storage for its PlayStation Plus subscribers in order to ensure the data files are secure and also for users who wish to access their files from other PS3 systems.
