This bootloader can be used with Prime with Android 4.0 installed and it will void the warranty as you use this tool.
If you think it is too long to wait for official Android 4.0 update for your tablet, then you can use this tool for further development after installing Android 4.0.

Toshiba has strong intention to join the tablet market in 2012 since we already have heard about the high-end tech 10.1-inch tablet to join CES 2012. ASUS has been taking its Prime Transformer very serious thanks to the tablets popularity around the World. Not to waste much time waiting, ASUS has announced on its Facebook which we can conclude that Prime Transformer will get Android 4.0 update as soon as January 12nd.
However ASUS has already alerted the users to concentrate about GPS and bootloader. In case of bootloader, it will be locked for you to keep the warranty and let you enjoy Google’s movie rental service. This is not the serious case since ASUS promised to provide bootloader unlocker soon.
