Mac Pro to Get Smaller Intel Processor

The new Mac Pro with Intel Sandy Bridge and Thunderbolt are expected later this summer. More than just upgrade the Mac Pro could inherit a new chassis compatible with rack servers and an Intel is also part of this. No information was available on this processor, but Apple could ask Intel processors smaller, while keeping the same power to minimize the footprint of the Mac Pro.

Samsung Intros Four New Families of Monitors

Samsung announced in detail several new lines of desktop monitors. 200, 450, 650 and 850 Series include many screens with diagonals ranging from 19 to 27 inches. All are equipped with backlit LEDs, and can say without too much risk that the technology is now standard, regardless of the type of monitors.

AMD Releases Catalyst Drivers 11.6 (Download)

AMD has released its official Catalyst drivers 11.6. This new edition comes a little over a month after the previous one. It supports graphics cards Radeon HD 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 and FireStream 9000 and the ATI Radeon 3000 and 4000, and their mobile versions.

Apple Developing Wireless Phone Charging Patent

Last year, Apple has added a new accessory rather original in its catalog which are a battery charger and six AA rechargeable batteries. In the end, it is only Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries sold under the Apple brand. Apple engineers are interested in the ability to recharge devices wirelessly.

White House to Create Smart Grid by IT Powered

White House to call on IT to help build US ‘smart grid’

On Monday, the Obama administration is preparing announce the next steps that the US will take to build its 21st century electric grid, and IT is expected to play a big part in the plans.

The White House is hosting a 90-minute media event called “Building the 21st Century Electric Grid” and is releasing a new report on what it will take for lawmakers and the private sector to come together to solve this aspect of the energy challenge.

iTunes Match Release Date in US and Europe

icloud for iTunes is already a reality and American users of devices running version 4.3.3 iOS can already recover purchased music on their devices without having to go through synchronization. Downloading previously purchased songs from the iTunes Music Store for free. In contrast, the iTunes matches feature will only be available next fall and still in the United States from the British newspaper The Telegraph.
