The latest words from public claimed that White iPhone 4 is 0.2 mm thicker than the black one but seem like Apple has something to oppose to this claim. To verify these statements, some exited their digital caliper and became aware of a difference of up to 0.2 mm, while others did simply no difference between the two models.
The iPhone has 4 white and waiting now clearly mark its difference with the black model. Besides a greater thickness of about 0.2 mm, the iPhone features some new components. Finally, to be exact, the lens used seems more open and allows more light to enter. Another change, the proximity sensor located just above the speaker phone, seems to have changed.

The information was leaked at Best Buy inventory data and it should be very reasonable to hear so since the White iPhone 4 has already listed on Verizon database too.
Seem like now Apple doesn’t want to fail us again with the release of White iPhone 4. Actually the company has promised to release this White model for a very long time already with AT&T but it failed to release the White model on time. However now White iPhone 4 appears on Verizon database.
