The Most Expensive iPad2 History Golden Edition for £5,000,000

The English jeweler Stuart Hughes offers iPad 2 “History Gold Edition” exclusive, probably the most expensive in the world. The iPad 2 3G is encrusted with 53 diamonds used (12.5 carats in total) to reconstruct the Apple logo surrounded by 24 carat gold, while the entire back cover is made of gold, also a 24 carat weight of 2 Kg The front is made of Ammolite, an old stone of Canada of 75 million years, and inlaid with a few pieces of bone T-Rex, a dinosaur age 65 million years. The front also receives a diamond of 8.5 carats.

The iPad 2 is sold 5 million pounds sterling or about 7,089,238 USD. Obviously the weight of the whole takes a hit and two iPad will not be really nice to use at arm’s length. It is surprising indeed that the jeweler does not offer a diamond encrusted SmartCover.
