According to various source, the workers at Foxconn’s Taiyuan plant started a riot. Violent started among the workers and guards. Even more serious, the violent between workers from different production lines also happened. Now there is no official word from the company but the company is investigating the sources of violent.
The Foxconn’s Taiyuan plant produces electronic parts including heat conduction, LED, magnesium alloy for consumer electronics, automotive components and mobile phone products including the back of iPhone.
Even with no official confirmation but the riot could be the result of dissatisfaction over working conditions. The company statement will be made on Monday.
